The author deals with the situation of indigenous national minorities in Alps-Adriatic-Panonnian region in the period between the two World Wars. To achieve this, the states neglected economic development in the regions, which were settled by minorities and did not support cultural activities of minorities. Author expresses his opinion that similar relation towards minorities prevails also after World War II in spite of all international obligations of the states concerned.
