The article deals with the problems of the modern youth and pupils which concern their lack of self-consciousness, identity, recognition and confirmation, and the lack of the education of affects and emotions by them. One of the main origins of these problems is the lack of genuine interpersonal relationships, communication and dialogue between children, adolescents or pupils on one hand and adults and teachers on the other. The above hypothesis is successfully checked by the evidence brought by modern philosophical anthropology, cognitive science and affect theory. On this basis the author grounds his thesis that the personalist pedagogy approach should be cultivated in schools and in education in general. This grounding is the main original scientific achievement of the article.

The article, which has been published in one of the leading philosophical journals in the French speaking world, presents a new reading of Levinas and rejects his criticism of ontology as a totalitarian suppression of the other. The author shows the possibility of a different ontology, which is liberated from the prejudice of actuality and freed in its character of possibility. All the same, it does not deduce that it would be fit to refute or relativise the “discovery” of the other by Levinas. There is a possibility to reconcile Levinas’ drastic separation between ethics and ontology by transforming the latter in the light of the radical alterity of the other, which refers to the inter-human relations.

The topic of the book “Salvation and Doctrines of Salvation in the World’s Religions” is the question: How can my life be saved? Religions speak about life and death on the issue of “salvation”. Monotheistic religions teachings are based on the presumption of God’s mercy. In different schools of Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and also in Greek philosophy the idea of “self-salvation” is presented. Christian doctrine teaches that personal salvation occurs when a believer recognizes God’s face in each human person and when his/her interactions with each and every person manifest the relationship with God.
