The English-Slovene dictionary of medium size was made on the basis of the most recently developed principles of bilingual lexicography. It is suitable for decoding as well as for encoding, and has been designed for users with Slovene as their first language, for users with English as their first language and for those who use English as an international language.

COBISS.SI-ID: 243540480A member of our research programme received the 2010 Sovre Award, the top prize for literary translation in Slovenia, which is given annually by the Association of Slovene Literary Translators. He won the award for his translation of Voltaire's Contes philosophiques.
E.01 National awards
As a member of the Expert Panel on Slovene Language Policy Resolution for the period 2012-2016 set up by the Slovene Ministry of Culture, M. Ožbot covered two areas: a. foreign languages, b. translation and interpreting.
F.29 Contribution to the development of national cultural identity
In 2012 Tatjana Marvin reviewed papers for a monograph (Distributed Morphology Today; Cambridge, MA.: MIT Press), whereas Jerneja Kavčič had the role of an anonymous reviewer for the renowned Journal of Greek Linguistics (Leiden: Brill).
F.34 Consultancy
In August 2013 Smiljana Komar was elected Secretary of ESSE (European Society for the Study of English), thus becoming one of the three executive officers of the Society.
