The members of the programme group, Alenka Zupančič Žerdin, Rado Riha, Peter Klepec, Jelica Šumič Riha, and Tadej Troha, are on the editorial boards of the journals Filozofski vestnik and Problemi; Alenka Zupančič Žerdin is co-editor of the “Short Circuits” series at MIT Press, editor of the Analecta series at the Society for Theoretical Psychoanalysis, co-editor of the International Journal of Badiou Studies and the International Journal of Žižek Studies; Jelica Šumič Riha is editor of the Philosophica series at the Publishing House of the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The Analecta and Philosophica series publish works by Slovenian authors and translations of classical and contemporary philosophy.
C.05 Editorial board of a national magazine
All members of the project group lecture at the Graduate School of the Scientific Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, in the Comparative Studies of Ideas and Cultures programme, philosophy module. Jelica Šumič Riha is head of the programme. In their lectures, they present the results of their own research work and discuss other philosophical currents and findings. Their research and pedagogical work are thus connected into a sensible whole.
D.10 Educational activities
Aside from numerous scientific publications, Alenka Zupančič Žerdin, Tadej Troha and Tomaž Mastnak have also published regular monthly columns and other articles in the daily newspaper Dnevnik and other periodicals. They have thereby demonstrated that it is possible to combine philosophical arguments with particular social issues and to communicate complex ideas to the broader public.
F.29 Contribution to the development of national cultural identity
Since 2009, Alenka Zupančič Žerdin has been a visiting professor at the prestigious European Graduate School based in Switzerland. The lecturers include some of the most distinguished theorists of our time, e.g. Giorgio Agamben, Alain Badiou, Jean Baudrillard, Judith Butler, Boris Groys, Manuel De Landa, and Jean-Luc Nancy.

Aleš Erjavec teaches “Critical Theory and Philosophy of Art” to postgraduate students of the Department for Humanities, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He also delivered a series of lectures on “Philosophy and Theory of Art” for postgraduate students of the Department for Humanities and Communications, Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai, China.
