COBISS.SI-ID: 28608605The contribution discusses the relationship between rel. diversity and mimicry. Mimicry is defined as various strategies for the (dis-)simulation regarding rel. identity and on this basis it is shown that increasing religious diversity theoretically indicates a multiplication of options for mimicry. In the paper 3 examples of mimicry in 3 countries are analysed: (1.) conservative god-speak in the USA, (2.) pseudo-conversions to Catholicism in Slovenia during the transition period, and (3.) examples of diverse pragmatic and ideol. religious mimicry during and after the war in BIH.
