D.03 Membership in foreign/international boards/committees
Problems in acquiring appropriate land and business premises are a serious bottleneck in attracting new foreign and domestic investors in Slovenia. The country lags behind comparable EU countries considerably as far as the supply of proper business/industrial zones is concerned. This research provides a detailed overview of the existing business zones in Slovenia in general and especially from the point of view of foreign investors. First, with a comprehensive questionnaire survey among all the registered business zones in Slovenia we analyse the present situation in this field in Slovenia. In the second step, we identify potentially the most attractive business zones for foreign investors, make comprhensive case studies of these zones and prepare their presentations which will be used by SPIRIT in its activities of attracting foreign investors in Slovenia.
