COBISS.SI-ID: 103864832Slovenian tourism confidence index survey shows a fall in confidence for 2009, where index value is 80. The expectations have fallen below 100 for the first time, but are still closer to the expectations of a normal business year, than to expectations of bad business results (index value of 50). Slovenian tourism experts are still quite optimistic in comparison to European experts who rate the performance closer to worse than they would normally expect (index value of 65). Study analyses possible reasons for differences in Slovenian and European values and for the fall in confidence.

COBISS.SI-ID: 244272128Nevenka Hrovatin from Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana received a Tempus grant for the preparation of the "Joint master program on public sector and environmental economics." Other partners in the project are University of Sarajevo and University of Nice. The aim is to establish the joint master program, which will incorporate three modules: economics of public sector, management of public sector and environmental and natural resource economics. In the study year 2009/2010 the first generation of students was enrolled in the program. The project will end at the end of August 2009.
