In every country where there have been noted movements for the autonomy of the civil society, the very specific and very different movements have formulated similar objectives. In the Slovenian case the rise of these movements stemmed from resistance to education reform.

A member of the programme group has often been sought in wider professional circles for answers regarding issues of political culture. In his appearance the author believed that the characteristics of a “mixed” political culture have started to dominate, and they might evolve towards both democratic and authoritarian political cultures. It is hard to predict which direction development will tend towards.
