COBISS.SI-ID: 2442772Students in the US report on somewhat more criteria for adulthood already fulfilled than their peers from two Central European countries, mostly due to higher scores of the former in the family capacities domain. The students’ age, intimate relationship status (IRS) and a low need for attachment in relation to parents (mother and father) account for the criteria attained across the countries. All of the effects are small, gender and living arrangements do not play a significant role in explaining the criteria achieved, whereas the effect of IRS is notably stronger in Slovenia.
