The government of the Republic of Slovenia delivered Zois prize to prof. Janko Kos for excellent research achievements in proteolysis and its regulation. The results of last seven years were considered for evaluation. Zois prize is the highest award for research work in the Republic of Slovenia.

COBISS.SI-ID: 269969664In years 2010 and 2013 the members of the programme group organised 6th and 7th Conferences on Experimental and Translational Oncology. These conferences are already traditional and well established and known internationally. The aim of the conferences is to present the most recent research in the fields of carcinogenesis, mechanisms of tumour progression, antitumour immune response, new drugs and therapeutic targets, and delivery systems, with a special focus on faster transfer of the results of basic research to clinical practice. The proceedings are published in Radiology & Oncology (IF 1,95) where the programme leader participates as editor.

F.06 Development of a new product
COBISS.SI-ID: 27820583Prof. Janko Kos, the programme leader, was the first winner of "The Mentor of the Year Prize" from Slovenian Society of Young Investigators. The prize, which became the most prestigeus for mentorship of Ph. D. students in Slovenia, was given to him for outstanding pedagogical and research achievements.
