Aims: To determine the presence and evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of the potential serological diagnostic markers perinuclear antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (pANCA), autoantibodies to intestinal goblet cells (GAB) and autoantibodies to exocrine pancreas (PAB), together with combinations of these, in the diagnosis of IBD and differential diagnosis of UC and CD. Conclusions: Combination of the autoantibodies may be particularly helpful, as the diagnostic sensitivity is considerably improved.

Purpose: To investigate time trends in cerebral palsy incidence in correlation with development of perinatal and neonatal intensive care in Maribor, Slovenia. Methods: A population-based study covering the 52.450 live births (1988-2003) of the Maribor region. Conclusion: Progressive changes in perinatal and neonatal intensive care in Maribor since 1994 have led to a fall in the early neonatal mortality rate, and this increase in survival of preterm infants has increased CP morbidity rate.

The results suggest that a regular once a week exercise training program designed and conducted by the physiotherapist, may be helpful in the improvement or maintenance of flexibility, muscle strength and capacity, and balance in postmenopausal women. The better fitness proved by our study could be a result of other causes and not solely that of the designed training program.
