This chapter gives a comprehensive overview of the RFID networks security and, in addition, provides a new family of non-deterministc security protocols, for which a national patent was given.

Trček lectured as visiting professor at one of the oldest European universities, the University of Coimbra, which ranks amont top 2% of world universities. There he gave a course (a masters program) in computer and information systems security. In addition, he had 4-hour lecture about the same topic for PhD students.

They are now crucial in supporting operations of infrastructure, ranging from power plants to air-control systems, and are integrated with internet. This paper presents a new approach to support decision making in this complex area. It is based on a generic risk management model for distributed information systems that deploys system dynamics.
