Leading of the Center of Magnetic measurements (CMag) During last 8 years, since we purchased a new QD SQUID susceptometer and established CMag, experiments were conducted on the system for more than 80 % of all time (24h/day, 7 d/week). This results in more than 120 papers connected with research in CMag, several graduate works, four PhD studies (two finished, two running), a lot of new international collaborations. Members of CMag or departments that uses research facilities of CMag are: IMFM, departments F5 (Condensed Matter Physics), F7 (Complex Matter), K7 (Nanostructured Materials) and K9 (AdvancedMaterials) of Jozef Stefan Institute, Faculty of mathematics and physics, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Maribor, National Institute of Chemistry Slovenia Since 2009 the new PPMS (Physical Property Measuring System) was install in the CMag laboratory.
D.07 Presiding over a centre/laboratory
Dr. Z. Jagličić, a leader of the programme, obtained a visiting professor position at Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI), Dajeon, S. Korea. The common research interests with the KBSI are new material for rechargeable batteries, materials for bio-medical applications and information technology.
B.05 Guest lecturer at an institute/university
In 2011 four PhD students were included in the research work of IMFM and MPŠ. Members of IMFM and MPŠ were supervisors for 4 graduate theses at different faculties in Slovenia (FMF and FGG, University of Ljubljana, and FNM, University of Maribor).
