During the tool development a new functionality was discovered. Its fulfilment would introduce strong competitive advantage: (i) full exploitation of a tying wire and (ii) decrease of operator's injuries. The structure of the tool was conceptualised using allocation of "wirk elements" (i.e. elementary function carriers). Allocation is an activity within the conceptual structural synthesis and is based on knowledge twisting.
F.33 Slovenian patent
COBISS.SI-ID: 11462427In construction there are still many processes that are done entirely by hand. The innovation that we have developed (machine for applying hydro-isolation coatings) partly automatizes the process of applying hydro-isolation coatings. The machine consists of brushes, a dosing system and a control module. The coating’s container is used as a tank. The machine was developed in combination with an environmentally-friendly coating by Fragmat TIM, d. d. The productivity of applying coatings can be increased up to 3 times.
F.06 Development of a new product
COBISS.SI-ID: 11679771One of the relevant socio-economic achievements are the research results of design characteristics of existing and newly proposed top-level cross-country ski boots. Research and development of a new generation of elite sports shoes will make possible to increase the visibility of the brand of the manufacturer and thus strengthen its position in the marketplace. This will help to maintain and further develop the production and jobs in the region, which is at present economic crisis particularly important.
F.05 Ability to launch new technological development cycle
COBISS.SI-ID: 11608091The first step towards finding an approximate sheath solution in the limit is to find the value of the alpha coefficient with the corresponding coefficient in the form of the sheath edge singularity describing the limiting potential variation in front of the sheath edge. Since the analytic solution is not difficult to obtain for the cold ion-source case, we can safely assume that alpha in this case is exactly 1/2. For the finite ion-source Riemann [J.Phys.D: Appl.Phys. 24, 493 (1991)] expects $alpha=2/3$, but this has never been confirmed.
F.02 Acquisition of new scientific knowledge
COBISS.SI-ID: 11721243To exploit the full potential of the ITER device and to guarantee optimal operation, a high degree of physics modelling and simulation is needed. This paper presents a set of unified and open source visualization tools that have been integrated into this framework. Some of these tools are used for the post-processing purpose, others are directly integrated into the workflow to allow visualization and monitoring of the results during its execution.
