The subject of the present invention is an arrangement of devices and a method for determining an efficiency index in abrasive waterjet cutting, i.e. the index unambiguously defining for a certain material the shape of a cut, roughness of surfaces created by cutting, their conical nature depending on the incidence angle of the abrasive waterjet and application thereof in a device for simultaneous control of abrasive waterjet cutting.
F.33 Slovenian patent
COBISS.SI-ID: 11826203Advanced high strength steels (AHSS) are already well positioned in automotive industry in particular in all chassis parts where improved passenger safety is demanded. Implementing the AHSS into the stamping of automotive parts is interlaced with new forming concepts facing technological problems of extremely high material strength, increased tool wear, high springback effects etc. Therefore, hot stamping was introduced in order to improve material's formability with simultaneous decrease of springback effect. The industrial project partner Gorenje Orodjarna d.o.o. is mostly oriented into the automotive sector but in the same time it is a part of the Gorenje d.d. group, reputable producer of household appliances. Therefore, it was obvious to transfer the knowledge of hot sheet metal forming applications from automotive also into the household appliances sector. In present work some guidelines and a sample case of part improvement by implementing the AHHS in household appliances are presented and discussed into the detail.
