The proposed invention relates to the optical system for transfer of timing reference signal and radiofrequency synchronisation of multiple events with femtosecond precision on multiple remote locations where synchronisation scheme with low phase jitter and long term stability is required using standard telecommunications single-mode optical fibre.
F.33 Slovenian patent
The innovation relates to the pseudo-random data generation within the field of electrotechnics, telecommunications and information technologies and to the procedure realization, consisting of a shift register with a linear feedback. The latter uses only a single memory cell with accompanying modulo-2 adders and transmission lines as a feedback.
F.33 Slovenian patent
It is presented that CW-clock transfer is possible over several-hundred-meter long link using commercially-available optical and RF components with an extremely-low added phase-noise and timing jitter, respectively. Group delay of the RF signal in the shown clock-distribution system is stabilized by the wavelength tuning and the chromatic dispersion of the optical fibres in the forward and the backward direction. The synchronization system makes use of a fibre-length stabilization, which transports a low-jitter microwave signal over a distance of 300 m.

COBISS.SI-ID: 7468116Research presented is concerned with the efficiency and reliability of synchronization protocols currently in force. A new synchronization paradigm which introduces unique global document identification is presented. During the synchronization process, valid replications are determined according to their timestamp value. Using timestamps and global identification at the same time, the proposed paradigm enables simple and exclusive procedures for reconciliation of different replications of one data record.

COBISS.SI-ID: 7262036This paper describes two types of auditory interfaces for controlling a word processing application primarily for blind computer users. They are based on the playback of one to three simultaneous sound sources, one of them representing the currently selected menu item and the other two representing the previous and the following item. The gentle background music with changing pitch offers additional feedback about the current location of the user in the menu three.
