Members of the research group are involved in the pedagogical work at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering. Beside the lectures at the higher educational study programs an important part is referring to the supervisory by the research work in the framework of the graduate, master and doctoral thesis.

COBISS.SI-ID: 248476160Members of the research group are actively involved as members of editorial board and as reviewers of the journal Geodetski vestnik. Geodetski vestnik has been published continuously since 1956 and bringing together a wide range of papers on research, theory and professional practice in geodesy, surveying and land management. It is an interdisciplinary journal concerned with technical, social, economic, political, legal, physical and planning aspects of geodesy, surveying, real estate management and spatial planning. From 2007 is included in WoS.
C.05 Editorial board of a national magazine
The activity of establishing a new national coordinate system in the period 2009-2010, conducted with financial support from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism in the form of grants, we were deeply involved in establishing a new national horizontal coordinate system, the network of continuously operating GNSS stations SIGNAL, design models for transformations transition from existing to new system and design a new height system in Slovenia.

COBISS.SI-ID: 5299297Cooperation in preparing and organizing several activities, including solemnity celebration under the patronage of President of the Republic of Slovenia, creating the educational documentary movie titled “From Mercator to Galileo”, exhibition of old maps presenting today’s Slovenian territory and the discussion about the development and importance of cartography with invited speakers.
F.28 Organising an exhibition
Members of the research group are actively involved in the working group WG VI/5 – Promotion of the Profession to Students at the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS). In the framework of the society the ISPRS SC Newsletter is published quarterly; the topics are related to development of profession, activities of young scientists and professionals in the areas covered by the ISPRS. The newsletter is meant to present activities of the working group, whose activities include also organizations of summer schools and scientific and professional conferences, too.
