The paper presents and compares immersion profiles of two different SPRTs in a triple point of water cell: one quartz and one metal sheathed. Measurements were made with and without the use of bushings. Bushings are tubular inserts that fill the gap between the sheath tip and the thermometer well to increase thermal contact. They were made out of metals of different thermal conductivities: brass, aluminum and copper. Results indicate that there may be a connection between measurement uncertainty due to immersion and stray thermal effects and type of bushing used.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10183764The systematic bias error of the non-parametric frequency estimation due to leakage effect can be effective reduced by the interpolated discrete Fourier transform. For fast decline of the long-range leakages the Rife-Vincent windows are used and the RV class II windows perform the lowest bias error.

COBISS.SI-ID: 9782100The purpose of the dissertation is to identify some of the less researched sources of uncertainty of platinum resistance thermometer calibrations, to analyze and to compare them with the help of experimental results. An open zinc freezing point cell was made and evaluated. Due to the fact that all metal freezing points are realized in virtually identical cells, conclusions can be applied to all of them.
