In cooperation with enterprise IDS microelectronic system was developed for which the patent was granted ( international and slovenian patent ). It solves the problem of sampling noise by suppressing it using a control subsystem. Next achievement represents the automatically controlled voltage supply, which is realised as a subsystem of microelectronic circuit. The patent was granted in Slovenia and international applications are pending. The system is especially suitable for the supply systems for contactless readers in RFID systems.

COBISS.SI-ID: 7634004In neurology and pharmacokinetics, the systemic paradigm was already well accepted, while other areas of bio-medicine were more or less accepting the reductionism paradigm where systems were studied through the analysis of its isolated sub-systems. Mathematical modelling, as one of the principal tools of control engineering, is now becoming necessary tool also in the analysis of biological systems.

COBISS.SI-ID: 7882324In the chapter a fuzzy models are used for fault detection in waste-water treatment plants. A fuzzy model describes the relation between the output variable of the process and the other measured variables that influence the operation of the of wastewater treatment plant, i.e., the output variable. The Takagi-Sugeno formulation is used, which is also the most common formulation for fuzzy models. The obtained fuzzy model works in a broad operating range of the wastewater treatment plant and enable the fault detection in the case of malfunctioning.
