T. CEROVŠEK leads the framework of technology transfer of modern information and communication techniques into construction industry, within the new large scale building projects. With the implementation of new collaborative technologies, process modelling and building information modelling and we employed knowledge transfer through realworld case studies introduced to building practitioners, contractors and subcontractors. As we have applied our approach into the biggest building project

The work deals with numerical simulations of the behavior of glass- wooden prefabricated components manufactured by the company Kager Homes dd. It is the wall of a wooden frame, filling the glass pane and of the adhesive (glue), which connects the timber and the glass. We are interested in the material model for the adhesive. We wish to establish such a material model that will fit with computer simulations of the experimental results.

COBISS.SI-ID: 6302049Sustainable construction can be defined as "interwoven activities of researchers, investors, construction companies and industry, service and other factors, with the aim of achieving sustainable development, taking into account environmental, socio-economic and cultural issues." Although most sustainable construction associated with energy efficiency in buildings and the use of natural materials, it is much more than that. It is a complex mix that addresses the competence center as a whole. At the same time, the Centre focuses on the development of core competencies in the areas where it is possible to achieve innovative solutions and competence advantage in the global marketplace. Strongest in the proposed competence center represented environmental issues dealing with the use of natural resources. The center contributes knowledge in the field of information models (BIM).
