Microencapsulation of phase change materials, which are suitable for latent heat energy storage, with melamine-formaldehyde resin was studied. The effects of process parameters on microencapsulation process and microcapsules properties were studied in detail. A suitable microencapsulation method was developed together with methods necessary for process and product characterization.

COBISS.SI-ID: 30287109For Nafta Petrochem d.o.o. researches were carried out in order to optimize crucial urea-formaldehyde resins' performances. The correlation between composition of urea-formaldehyde resins and their properties was studied by the use of NMR, DSC and rheological analyses. The resins' chemical composition, their rheological properties and crosslinking process were optimized.
F.07 Improvements to an existing product
COBISS.SI-ID: 30253573For Aero d.d. novel nanocomposite pressure sensitive adhesives were developed. These nanocomposite acrylic microspheric adhesives have a drastically improved shear resistance if compared to classical acrylic microspheric adhesives.
