IF(2011) = 3,148; LE - geosciences, multidisciplinary; 17/170; kvartil: 1; x=1,669; IFmin: 2,12; IFmax: 11,754; ZR - water resources; 2/78; kvartil: 1; x=1,311; IFmin: 1,782; IFmax: 4,865.
C.04 Editorial board of an international magazine
COBISS.SI-ID: 2823265Boris Kompare is Member of the Editorial Advisory Board of this SCI journal since 1994, in charge for his field of expertise in ecological engineering. IF (2011)= 2,326; GU - ecology ; 57/134; kvartil: 2; x=2,624; IFmin:1,826; IFmax: 3,106.
C.07 Other editorial board
COBISS.SI-ID: 26792960T.G. Bulc was leading Eureka E!5007 project with acronym FISH-CWUS (2009-2012) with the aim to develop new innovative technology for fish farm wastewater treatment. In the frame of the project presented new process control instrument to integrate and optimize two physical water treatment technology units: vertical constructed wetland and ultrasound was developed. The resulting integrated technology combines the economic and ecological advantages of all the individual units to achieve targeted application in specific water qualities without the use of chemicals. Recirculation aquaculture systems without chemicals are new solutions also for other sensitive water treatment systems where chemicals are an unsatisfying solution like groundwater recharge, remediation of natural lakes, irrigation etc.
F.09 Development of a new technological process or technology
COBISS.SI-ID: 4483947The paper describes the development and application of numerical models of circulation, waves and oil spreading on the sea, and their integration. Oil spread predicting is useful for institutions and companies operating in Slovenia in the field of research or preventive measures against oil spills. Along with the sea-water level forecasts, these models are tools to prevent or mitigate material damage at unexpected or rare events in the marine environment.
