Vehicle dynamics, performances and emissions of city busses were measured by acquiring data from measurement equipment for vehicle dynamics, vehicle’s performances and emissions. Data were acquired for different vehicles using single- or multi-component fuels. Acquired data provide the basis for further strategic decisions on future propulsion systems for city busses.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10952987In the paper the extended numerical method is proposed that enables three dimensional simulations of flow and thermodynamic conditions within an air preheater as well as in the adjoining gas channels. Fluid dinamic and newly developed heat transfer models were combined and yield together flow and temperature conditions within the entire computational domain. Special attention was also focused to influence of leakage on flue gas parameters in the preheater.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10023195Some heat-and power-units are capable for producing heat and power in cogeneration mode or separately. Such units can therefore produce four products and to determine products costs for each of them, the fuel consumption must be allocated among them. In the paper is presented how the method of alternative units and equal savings, in according with Directive 2004/8/EC, can be used for this purpose.
B.03 Paper at an international scientific conference
COBISS.SI-ID: 11030555A method for determining the mass flow of a casting of molten material was developed. It is based on visualization of the casting process. A special equipment was designed to be implemented in a device for measuring the mass flow.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10953499The presented work analyzes influences of different topologies and configurations of hybrid powertrains and influences of different drive cycles and payloads on energy conversion efficiency of hybrid powertrains for heavy duty vehicles. Listed influencing parameters namely very significantly influence energy consumption of hybrid powertrains. Thesis is complementary to measurements of real-world cycles aimed to support strategic decisions on future propulsion systems for city busses.
