Development of a large oven new generation in which heat is spread evenly throughout the oven so that one can simultaneously cook on two levels. Product NGKA (Gorenje GA proprietary) was released in 2009 to the global market. Programme group of LFDT contributed by numerical simulation of temperature and velocity field over a two-phase boundary and oven optimization.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10121243Water hammer phenomena have been investigated in Perućica high-head hydropower plant (HPP), Montenegro. During its first phase of modernisation and refurbishment new distributors (needle valves) have been installed on the first two Pelton turbine units. Closure of the Pelton turbine distributors for the case of emergency shut-down and load rejection under governor control is modelled by two different closing laws i.e. the two-speed closing law and the law that considers actual (measured) needle stroke.

COBISS.SI-ID: 11066139This report deals with comprehensive water hammer analysis in Wawaitin HPP, Canada. The simulated flow-passage system of the Wawaitin HPP is comprised of the upper reservoir with approach channel leading to intake, two parallel water conveyance systems with one Francis turbine each and tailrace channel. The turbine is uniquly designed to operate at transient runaway speed during load rejection. This strategy enables a cost effective water hammer solution without additional pressure regulating valve.

COBISS.SI-ID: 11275291Collaboration of LFDT with the University Clinical Centre: The potential of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was used to asses its applicability to clarify the OSAS mechanism. A strong correlation between pharyngeal narrowing and pressure drop as well as secondary flow circulation close to larynx opening indicate possible induction of soft tissue (and) epiglottis vibrations.
