In this article building of CNC-robotic cell is presented. The applications of robotic milling and turning were developed. The software and the hardware equipment for robotic controller was successful upgraded. This project also assures the utilization of older robots. The presented research invigorated collaboration between University of Maribor and Slovenian industry on the fields of research/development and education.

COBISS.SI-ID: 13322262The paper presents the development of energy-saving blow off nozzle system, which was produced with use of modern rapid manufacturing process: Based on findings of a single blow off nozzle, where the inside of the nozzle was designed to optimize air amplification principle, the nozzle system unit was developed. The nozzle system is designed and optimized based on CFD simulation and because of the very complex inner form produced using RP/RM - Rapid Prototyping / Manufacturing technology. Such conceived and designed nozzle allows enormous energy savings of blown air up to 80 %.
