Developing steps in designing a system for predicting garment appearance quality are presented which base on two groups of evaluators (semi-skilled evaluators and a group of experts). This system of dual evaluation and comparison of the grades obtained are key factors in the development of the predicting models using the method of machine learning. It is founded on previous knowledge of correlations among the quality grade of a particular factor of garment appearance quality and the parameters of mechanical and physical properties of the fabrics, incorporated into the garments.

The contribution deals with study of thermo-physiological comfort of different male business clothing systems made of common textile materials, as well as male business clothing systems that contain phase-change materials. It was found that the environmental conditions and thermal properties of business clothing systems have a considerable impact on thermo-physiological comfort of the wearer. Furthermore, it was concluded that clothing systems in combination with phase-change materials indicate a temporary thermal effect that is reflected in a slight rising or lowering of skin temperature.

This study deals with the comparison between the manual and automated KES-F measurement signals to detect the systematic deviations during handling, positioning and clamping procedures. It was conducted that manual KES-F apparatus gives higher results and the differe ce between the measurements are statistically significant in terms of tensile, bending and compression parameters. On the other hand, this difference increases with an increasing fabric density.

The monograph, which consists of eight chapters, addresses in the opening chapters the garment manufacturing technology and product classification, a chronological overview of the size systems development and product development. These introductory chapters serve as the basis for the integrity of the monograph, while in the last five chapters, the meaning and theoretical background on the modern production preparation in organizational and technological fields are given. Special attention is given to appropriate professional language and terminology, particularly regarding completely new terms

The intelligent functional jacket for injury detection with function of partial protection against penetration has three layers. It consists of the top, intermediate and inner layer. The inner layer provides wearer with partial protection against cut, while internal layer assures antibacterial protection. Between inner and intermediate layer there is an integrated network system for detection of possible penetrations. The activity of jacket is enabled by sensor and measuring systems for detecting input parameters, which produce characteristic response message parameters using special software.
