COBISS.SI-ID: 16846341A parallel Slovenian-Serbian subtitle corpus was developed, which will serve as a basis for development of SUMAT subtitle translation web service. Among 14 language pairs the web service will contain also the language pair of Slovenian-Serbian languages. This is not important only as a service itself, but also as a pilot study, how such a service can be developed for languages with fewer language resources and language processing tools.

Design implements sophisticated audio and video metric algorithms enhanced with structure detector. This detector reveals Region Of Interests, which are known to be of more importance and therefore more powerful impact on overall quality score is observed in the case of degradation. This evaluator is a good starting point for further investigation of interaction between different modal streams perceived by the end-user.

COBISS.SI-ID: 16298262This paper describes the data collection and parallel corpus compilation activities carried out in the FP7 EU-funded SUMAT project. This project aims to develop an online subtitle translation service for nine European languages combined into 14 different language pairs. This data provides bilingual and monolingual training data for statistical machine translation engines which will semi-automate the subtitle translation processes of subtitling companies on a large scale.

COBISS.SI-ID: 16027926Testing of embedded software of ALC module for digital television DVB-T2 transmitters was performed for RC MASPOS research centre. An adequate testing framework on the basis of specific embedded system in appurtenant software was implemented to assure appropriate conditions of operation. Furthermore, changing of physical parameters of operation and acquisition of measurement results was included.
