Simulations by modeling and evaluation of tactical communication systems' characteristics are prior deployment in the real world. Such methodologies assure a higher success probability for tactically critical operations on military fields. Our research efforts were directed towards increasing efficiency when using Slovenian C2IS information technology - TISPINK. Developed were simulation methodologies and tools that enable Command and Control communication systems’ optimization. In our research we used OPNET Modeler.

COBISS.SI-ID: 12992534We investigate two methods for determining of data source statistics from captured packet traffics. The first one is based on algorithm mimic defragmentation, and the second has iterative algorithm containing pdf transformation into theoretical histograms which goodness of fit with empirical histograms is measured by packets length weighted $\chi^2$ tests. In research we considered TCP/IP protocol stack and fragmentation procedure according to RFC 793. Theoretical results are confirmed by numerus experimental tests.

COBISS.SI-ID: 13527062In the study we examine the possibilities of the remote sensing of river Drava water systems between cities Maribor and Ptuj by satellite TerraSAR-X. In it we estimate reliability of estimation of the key parameters for safety operation hydropower stations, security of channel dams, station dam, and channels and river embankment. With comparison of in the soil measured average humidity in embankment with data with data obtaining by different methods of remote sensing we develop methodology of estimation of soil humidity from SAR pictures.
