The invention introduces a novel computer device whose sensors are built in household-appliance handles for automated measurements of functional-health parameters, whenever gripped by a human hand. The embedded software methods evaluate heartbeats and heart rate, blood oxygenation and pressure, temperature of fingers, tractive force and accelerations, which also results in an assessment of physical condition.

COBISS.SI-ID: 16345110The open access to the final study works and research publications contributes to faster knowledge exchange and improves the visibility of research results. Apart from the University of Maribor, other Slovenian universities did not have their own institutional repositories before the establishment of the national open access infrastructure. They lacked the institutional repositories as well as submission processes and policies that would allow the establishment of such processes. In addition to the existing repository "Digital Library of the University of Maribor", we established OpenAIRE compatible repositories for the University of Ljubljana, University of Primorska and University of Nova Gorica. We also established a national open access portal, which can be found at http://www.openscience.si. The national portal contains content from Digital library of Slovenia, Videolectures.net, Social Sciences Data Archive and Digital Library of the Ministry of Defence. The national infrastructure only takes metadata and full text publications for the purposes of federated search, content recommendations and similar content detection. The repositories enable the collection and storage of final study works, staff and research publications and research data in digital format. The established infrastructure will enable the collection and storage of approximately eighty percent of reviewed scientific publications, which are published yearly by Slovenian researchers. At the same time, most of Slovenian higher education final study works will be obtained and available in full text. Users have access to bilingual web and mobile applications, the recommendation system and functions for users with disabilities. Plagiarism detection system is available for staff and students from universities. Windows Phone, Android and iOS mobile applications are available. The compatibility of repositories with OpenAIRE recommendations will enable the European Commission to check compliance with the provisions on mandatory open access of all publications from projects funded in the Horizon 2020 programme. The repositories are linked to COBISS and SICRIS. They are also included in DART-Europe (an European portal of master's and doctoral theses) as well as many directories, aggregators (OpenDOAR, ROAR, BASE, WorldCat) and search engines.
