The aim of the project is to construct the equipment for preparing the house reference materials and “gas-in-oil standards”. Transformer oils are subject to chemical reactions, the result is formation of gases, mainly hydrocarbons.Concentration and velocity of formation of gases are strongly connected to possibleincipient faults at electrical instrument (transformer). Reference material as well as gas in oil standards are necessary for the assessment of reliable analytical results ofdissolved gases in transformer oils which are consequently used for prediction of incipient faults in oil of insulated electrical instrument (transformer). The aim of the project is also to design and to build the equipment for accurate sampling of oils from power transformers. The new constructed instrument should not contain any mercury and have to avoid too much manual work. Instrument for large volume of gas-in-oil standard should be capable to prepare certified reference material for market.Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) is an industry standard for the detection and determination of faults in power transformers.

COBISS.SI-ID: 16561174Objective of the project was to improve and quantify the performance of an air-lift membrane bioreactor (MBR) for the treatment of textile wastewater, and to investigate its capability of achieving a water quality that meets reuse criteria in combination with ozone treatment. Different treatment technologies were tested (biological treatment, MBR, SBR and ozone) during the project. The results achieved were satisfactory. It was demonstrated that appropriate combination of technologies could results to satisfactory quality of treated water, which meet criteria for reuse within production processes.

COBISS.SI-ID: 16608278The objectives of chemometrics in environmental chemistry are focused on characterization and chemometrical classification regarding pollution of different environmental samples. Chemometrics is a scientific discipline between measurement oriented chemistry, applied statistics and mathematics. It has an important role in environmental chemistry. Modern analytical methods provide opportunity to collect large amounts of data for various environmental samples. For handling analytical results different chemometric methods are employed, such as basic statistical methods for the determination of mean and median values, standard deviations, minimal and maximal values of measured parameters and their mutual correlation coefficients, the principal component analysis (PCA), cluster analysis (CA), and linear discriminant analysis (LDA).
