This book is the first pharmaceutical terminological dictionary in Slovenia. The Dictionary of Pharmaceutical Technology contains all main expressions used in pharmacy, standardizes and explains them. The great value of the dictionary is its lexicological and lexicographic processing in such a way that beside the semantic definition of terms, the dictionary informs the user on the correct forms of term’s use, points to its critical use and with an additional label defines the narrower field of the predominant use of a term. With the choice of the most relevant headwords it is necessary to state that Dictionary of Pharmaceutical Terminology defines the majority of the basic terms in pharmacy (including medicinal chemistry) and due to the interdisciplinary nature of pharmacy includes also part of terminology of related sciences.
