The Nobel Prize for Physics was shared by Professors François Englert and Peter W. Higgs for “for the theoretical discovery of a mechanism that contributes to our understanding of the origin of mass of subatomic particles, and which recently was confirmed through the discovery of the predicted fundamental particle, by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider”.

Particulars is a spin-out company of Jozef Stefan Institute the largest and most prominent Slovenian research institute. The company was founded by 6 senior researchers from Department of Experimental Particle Physics. The group has a long record of using the transient current technique for studies of semiconductor particle detectors and dosimeters and pioneered several analysis/application techniques for determination of various device/semiconductor parameters.
