Fakin, 2012) and Honorary membership by the Austrian Chemical Society (V. Kaučič, 2011).
E.01 National awards
In an invited lecture with the above title N. Zabukovec Logar first introduced the basic concepts of heat storage, with an emphasis on the sorption heat storage. Then, some examples of the study of heat storage performance in some aluminophosphate and metal-organic porous materials were shown. Members of the program group had in the last five years 10 other invited lectures at international conferences, such as: 6th FEZA Conference, Leipzig, September 2014 (N. Zabukovec Logar), NANOAPP 1st International Scientific Conference on Nanomaterials & Applications, Portorož, September 2013 ( N. Zabukovec Logar ), 3rd ENMIX Workshop, Hannover , March 2013 (N. Zabukovec Logar), 5th Serbian-Croatian-Slovenian Symposium on Zeolites, Zlatibor, May 2013 (V. Kaučič, G. Mali), 35th FGMR Discussion Meeting, Munich, September 2013 (G. Mali), European Conference on Materials and Technologies for Sustainable Growth, Bled, September 2013 (N. Novak Tušar), SLONANO 2012 Ljubljana, October 2012 (N. Zabukovec Logar), Slovenian-Italian Conference on Materials and Technologies for Sustainable Growth, Ajdovščina, May 2011 (N. Novak Tušar), 3rd Slovenian-Croatian Symposium on Zeolites, Trogir, Croatia, September 2010 (N. Zabukovec Logar), 2nd Slovenian-Croatian Symposium on Zeolites, Ljubljana, October 2009 (V. Kaučič ) and 23 lectures at foreign universities in Europe, Asia, America and Australia.
B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 5184282In an article in the business newspaper with the highest publicity in Slovenia (Finance) we presented in a simplified manner the field of energy storage, the latest technology and our own world leading research in this area. In addition to this article in Finance, members of the program group published also other popular articles in the Delo and Finance newspapers, as well as in the International Innovation journal (publisher Research Media Ltd.) on the topic of heat storage in porous materials and the use of zeolites in cleaner technologies. N. Zabukovec Logar was interviewed for Radio Slovenia in "Podobe znanja".
F.18 Transfer of new know-how to direct users (seminars, fora, conferences)
COBISS.SI-ID: 5141786Members of the program group organized several international workshops and symposia at the National Institute of Chemistry in Ljubljana. In October 2009 we hosted the participants of the second Slovenian-Croatian Zeolite Symposium, in October 2011, the participants of the Fourth Slovenian-Croatian Zeolite Symposium and workshop in the framework of ERA-NET project STOREHEAT, and in October 2013 the tenth International expert meeting in the framework of the joint IEA SHC ECESTask/Annex 42/29 "Compact Thermal Energy Storage: Material Development for System Integration" . At the conferences with 35-55 participants, many domestic and foreign world-renowned scientists and managers from Europe and America gave lectures on the use of zeolites in environmental and energy applications and the development of heat storage systems, for example, prof. dr. Ferdi Schüth , Director of the Max-Planck Institute in Germany , prof. dr. David Serrano , director of the IMDEA Energy Institute in Spain , prof. dr. Nevenka Rajic from the University of Belgrade , prof. dr. Juergen Eckert , University of Florida , dr. Stefan Henninger from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems from Freiburg in Germany, dr. Rainer Albert Rakoczy , head of the Department of zeolite in the German industrial chain of Süd- Chemie AG, and others.

COBISS.SI-ID: 4285722Members of the program group participate actively in undergraduate and graduate research work of students and have been mentoring several diplomas, master and PhD works. In addition, we have been and are holders of many different student courses at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana and at the faculties of the University of Nova Gorica. Courses Heterogeneous catalysts, Crystallography, Solid-state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Chemistry and Chemistry and Chemical Engineering enable students to meet with an important group of materials and relevant characterization techniques that can be advantageously used in research solids in various areas of nanomaterials to biologically interesting materials.
