COBISS.SI-ID: 32035373At the international scientific meeting of nannoplankton researchers we presented the results of our studies on Miocene nannoplankton from Slovenske gorice. We showed that the taxonomic structure of nannoplankton assemblages can be used as a tool to unravel the location of marine connections between the Mediterranean and the Central Paratethys.

COBISS.SI-ID: 31903533At the CBGA (Carpathian Balkan Geological Association) congress we presented the results of stratigraphical studies on Lower Cretaceous resedimented limestones from Bohinj. The source area of these limestones was probably a smaller carbonate platform, comparable to the Plassen Carbonate Platform in the Northern Calcareous Alps and to the Kurbnesh Carbonate Platform in Albania.
