In dissertation asymmetric single point incremental sheet metal forming technology are discussed from the definition of stable and safe forming procedure point of view. So, the aim of dissertation was to define technological window inside which forming process can be performed reliably. For these reason two models to predict forming results in advanced were proposed, which enables quick definition of technological windows.

COBISS.SI-ID: 10812955In the paper approaches are described, which are able to predict the influence of the scatter of the input parameters to the stability of forming process in the early stage of the production process development cycle by the use of FE simulations, response surface methodology and stochastic modelling. The presented approach was successfully applied in industrial environment during metal forming technology development. The paper will present and discus those case studies in order to confirm the quality of presented methodology and its usability in industrial practice.
