The monograph provides an etymological analysis of 555 Romance borrowings taken from the book Agricultural and viticultural terminology in Slovene Istria. The material was collected on the basis of a questionnaire adapted to the Istrian economic, cultural and ethnic situation, at ten research points in Slovene Istria, and recorded in Slovene phonetic script. The research work was carried out at the intersection of the Slavic and Romance world, where interference is most evident. The author seeks to shed light on this phenomenon from different angles, relying on exact etymological analysis.
