The article presents a valuable piece of a Roman glass vessel, that came to the Adriatic and SE Alpine area as an import from Egyptian glass workshops. This products were produced only by order, in specialised workshops of diatretarii, extra trained glass workers of the Roman period. This products very rarely reached the provincial milieu of the empire, because of the extrenely high prices. Products from Bakar and the comparison from Ptuj are the evidence, how also the provincials with economic power were familiar with most important craft centres of the empire and the value of their products.

The article presents the state of research and knowledge about the masons and stone-cutting craft in Roman Celeia. On the base of data from the mid 20th century and new research and excavation she gathered and evaluated the lapidary material, that confirms the possibility of mason's craft operating in the town. The semifactured grave monuments (stelae, ash chest, reliefs) and data about the stone-cutting tools discovered in the town confirm the thesis, that a stone-cutting workshop operated on the south edge of the Roman Celeia.
