The article presents the oldest known Celtic grave from Slovenia. The decoration of the published sword complements the knowledge on the evolution of decoration styles of the 4th century BC on the territory between Eastern France and central Hungary. With its stylistic traits it demonstrates the course and the time of the Celtic migrations which created the Celtic settlement of the territory of today Slovenia.

The author presents in the article the forms of hoof-knives used for cleaning and trimming of horse hooves. Their form remained unchained from the Early Iron Age to the modern period. The author demonstrates the oldest depictions on situate art, examples discovered on roman sites and modern pieces. The article shows how a simple yet functional tool remained unchanged for more than 2.500 years.
