In the book entitled First Lady, the author presented the oldest preserved clay anthropomorphic figurine discovered on the territory of today's Slovenia. She presented the archaeological research on the territory surrounding the city of Murska Sobota, the state of copper age research in Eastern Slovenia and finally she described and analyzed the discovered figurine. In addition she presented the other finds of artistic products dating to the Neolithic and copper age. The book is the first of its kind in Slovenia dedicated to the Neolithic and copper age art.

The article presents the finds from an isolated female burial dating to the Early Iron Age discovered on the eastern outskirts of Maribor. It also demonstrates the relations between the broader fashionable trends reflected in the use of ring jewelry on one hand and the local traditions of burials, reflected in the ritual burning of the artifacts together with the deceased.
