Treatise on the history and the significance of the Ljubljana Seminary - Collegium Carolinum, an institute for the formation and education of the aristocratic youth, whose main Maecenas was Janez Anton Dolničar von Thalberg, and on the emblematic value of Dolničar's sketches of medals intended to mark the opening of the new building housing the first public library in Ljubljana.

The article deals with the paintings included in the Virgin's altar in the parish church of Laško, which, after the recent restoration, can convincingly be attributed to Hans Georg Geiger von Geigerfeldt. Thus the oeuvre of one of the most important Carniolian painters of the 17th century has expanded to Styria, where he was not known until now. The commission of the Laško altar can be connected with the patronage of the Moscon family, for whom the painter worked also in Lower Carniola.

The treatise deals with patron saints of academies founded in Ljubljana in the 17th and 18th centuries. relying on medieval tradition, they chose a patron, whose name-day was solemnly celebrated each year in the church where the academy had their own chapel, or altar, or at least the imege of their patron saint. These works of art, of which only a few have been preserved, were of great significance also for the formation of the artistic taste of the noble members of these academies and, consequently, of influence in their subsequent artistic commissions for the churches they supported.

Article deals with the frescoes in the chapel of St. John of Nepomuk at Tuštanj castle, discussing them from the viewpoint of stylistic analysis, authorship, iconography, visual and litterary sources and patronage. The murals were commissioned from Franc Jelovšek by Georg Ludwig Lichtenberg after the death of his first-born son Johann Nepomuk in 1724, however, according to their artistic sources, probably not before 1729.

The article discusses the role of Prince Henrik Auersperg as protector and patron of the pilgrimage church at Nemšla Loka. After a disagreement with the Novo mesto Chapter, who also claimed these rights, the Prince ensured his patronage by building a new church.
