International symposium was a forum to present and critically assess recent discoveries of so far unknown functions performed by nucleic acids in the metabolism of living organisms. Participants of the symposium presented the results of their latest research in the areas of synthesis of modified heterocycles, nucleosides and oligonucleotides as well as their structural studies and applications. More information about the symposium is available at: http://www.nmr.ki.si/snacsi2010/.

COBISS.SI-ID: 251065088NMR spectroscopy has recently undergone a great development that influences its everyday use in research and development activities in academic institutions and in companies. Symposium entitled ‘Magnetic Moments in Central Europe (MMCE) – Tutorials and frontiers’ involves primarily researchers from Central Europe. MMCE 2009 represented a new step towards an increased cohesion and cooperation of Slovenian NMR centre with researchers from academia and business sector from central Europe. Additional information about the MMCE 2009 symposium is available at: http://www.nmr.ki.si/mmce2009.
