At the international conference on neurobiology the authors represented their new achievements in the study of structure and function of the cave cricket vibratory neuronal system running the relevant behaviour of cave crickets. This work represents an important contribution in understanding of processing of frequency at the relevant CNS level.

COBISS.SI-ID: 25999065The author represented the functional properties of the neuronal network which triggers the startle response in cave crickets. This fixed motor pattern prepares the animal for flight (escape). The author described the frequency intensity characteristics of the reaction and connected them with properties of the relevant neurons.
