Monography is the first monography in Slovenia from the field of authentic leadership as a modern theory of leadership in contemporary learning organizations. The first part presents the model of learning organization. Central part describes authentic leadership and the model of authentic leadership in learning organization, dealing with characteristics of authentic leadership; training of authentic leadership skills; authentic leadership behaviour and communication of authentic leaders with coworkers. Last part focuses on case studies of authentic leadership nationwide and globally.

This study empirically relates two important areas of management research: the full-range theory of leadership and the organizational learning process. The results show that transformational leadership has a strong impact on all four constructs of organizational learning. A direct impact is evident only regarding information acquisition and behavioural and cognitive changes.
