COBISS.SI-ID: 2004356Three types of vernacular architecture for storing and for drying corn wear the same characteristics, but are definitelly different. Portuguise espigueiros is made of stone blocks, but with wooden details. Spanish horreo is made of wood, stone and brick, but its origin is in wattle, simple wood construction. Both objects are no longer in use. In Slovenia, koruznjak is wooden object and it is still in use. Yesterday it was built of wattle, today it is constructed of wooden laths. The same things are dimensions, proportions and principles of use.
