In 2006-2009 Metka Kuhar (besides Mirjana Ule) has been a national coordinator of the EU-funded international research project Up2youth: Youth – actor of social change. This project was concerned with the agency of young people in the context of social change (in the fields: transition to parenthood, work and participation), also the role of relationships with parents.

I contributed also to preparation of contents and leading the seminar. In invited speech I presented a part of the results from the research project, because family networks have an extremely important support role in the region.

B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 27698269The reference is a final report on the evaluation of the state of youth and youth policies in Latvia. The report is produced after several country visits by international team organized by the Partnership of European Commission and Council of Europe on the youth field. I am a coauthor of the final report. One of the aims of international review process is advising on the development of youth policies in the region. In Latvia many suggestions have already been implemented.
