Besides organizing the conference about art historical terminology, the authoress also read a paper about the terminological issues related to iconography, particularly about the question of Slovene titles of some mythological and religious motifs which are mainly uniform in foreign literature. The issue was presented through several concrete examples. Emphasized was the necessity of translating foreign lexica into Slovene language, since in this way the basis would be provided for the uniformity of Slovene terminology in the fine arts, and architecture in particular.

COBISS.SI-ID: 28260141The monograph, containing several studies and a catalogue, is the result of interdisciplinary cooperation, therefore the editorial work, which also included the preparation of scientific-critical apparatus, was extremely demanding. The editors also harmonized the texts in terms of terminology and concurrently solved several problems of Slovene translations of technical terms. Resman also wrote a number of catalogue entries in which he discussed the iconography of the Slovene Portal and the Ljubljana Portal of Ljubljana cathedral and several portraits of the bishops of Ljubljana.

The volume of 2007 was mainly dedicated to iconographic themes; some of these were also presented at the conference of iconography.

The concept of the painting decoration is by far more strongly related than has been established in the hitherto literature not only to the iconography of the city, the diocese and the empire but also to the most topical events that affected the congregation that went to Cathedral. Their ideals were cardinal and other virtues, saints, the apostles and anonymous believers killed by the Roman soldiers. Together with them, visitors to the church, through their faith could experience the salvation in the triumph of the Holy Cross.
B.04 Guest lecture
COBISS.SI-ID: 28835117On the basis of selected examples from Slovene art, the lecture presented the iconography of St. Anthony of Padua. The discussion included individual images of the Saint as well as his connections with other saintly figures, who are related to him through similar attributes or contents, furthermore the scenes from St. Anthony's life and his miracles, and finally the depictions of the miracles after the Saint's death, which are related to the famous responsorium Si quaeris. In addition to standard motifs, presented were also a number of rare motifs, iconographically particularly interesting.
