A member of our research team gave an invited lecture at one of the largest conferences in the field of electrochemistry. The conference was attended by over 2000 participants. The lecturer presented our original method for synthesis of large quantities of metal oxide nanoparticles by treatment with oxygen plasma. The applicability of the technique was illustrated with several examples including nanowires, nanobelts, nanocones, and nanoparticles with a more complex shape.

COBISS.SI-ID: 21752615We presented our original method for measuring condcentration of neutral oxygen atoms at this extremely aplicatively oriented conference. Several examples were presented to illustrate the rarely known fact that plasma parameters change spontaneously during processing of materials in plasma reactors. We clearly showed that real-time measuring of plasma parameters is necessary in order to follow plasma processing. We also stressed the advantages of nanostructured catalytic probe that has been developed recently in our labs in the frame of this project.
