The paper discusses philosophical questions within the scope of cognitive science. First, three basic approaches are introduced (classical computer modelling, connectionism, embodied cognition), especially the decision-making and free will problematics are critically reconsidered. The author warns against inferences about free will and moral responsibility that are often hastily drawn from neuroscience findings.
