The paper describes how the discovery of change in the breast affect the life of a women. 15 patients with breast cancer, of which 5 were after longer period of survival, participated in the study. the results of the study demonstrated taht the highest burden of negative feeling is associated with recurrence of the disease. Nurse has an important role suporting the patients in their encounter with disease and treatment. this contributes to lower burden with anxiety and fear.

The paper focuses on arthroscopic therapy, which has an important impact especially on elderly patients. It decreases the risk of major surgeries that we fear to perform in this group of patients.

Vesicouretheral reflux is the retrograde passage of urine from the bladder into the urether and kidney during voiding. It appears to be related to the valve mechanism, by high intravesical pressure and by bladder neurogenic disorders which are very common at elder people. In the paper it is described the first time the endoscopic subureteric injection of cultured chondrocytes – a method based on tissue engineering technology, that improve the quality of life of elder patients.
