The presentation discusses algorithm parameters based on spatial and time distance between messages of online forum users. In the contribution parameters important for searching the optimal solution are identified. According to that the most important parameter is the number of previous messages that are considered in the identification of the connection between two users.

Authors have used both qualitative and quantitative methods of analysis and have focused on terms of general situation concerning eParticipation of young people in Slovenia and current eDemocracy developments related to the European Union.
